The AFCS Congress 2026 was successfully held at the Postgraduate Education Centre, Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong. I was honored to participate in two sessions as both chairperson and speaker. As the inaugural congress of the Asian Federation of Cytology Societies, it provided a warm and collegial atmosphere for communication among Asian cytopathologists. I believe this meeting marked the beginning of even stronger collaboration across Asia. The next AFCS Congress will be held in Sendai, Japan.
